Vocational Trainings
For Special Need Persons
We, the TASK, introduce ourselves as an NGO registered under Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950 working in the field of Vocational Work for Special Need Persons.
TASK was formed to provide vocational facilities to differently abled persons. With our limited resources, we have been conducting Training Sessions for differently abled at regular interval
Motor Skills
Due to 'hands on' nature of printmaking, participants will naturally develop fine motor skills. Holding and placing the blocks appropriately, taking color and then putting the right pressure while stamping to get a print all involve motor skills and develop eye hand coordination
Social Skills
The key to building conversation skills is repeated practice with feedback. Here at TASK they will learn to work as a team, understanding people in the workplace, interact with members while doing work & practice following instructions
Work Training
Hand Block Printer uses different carved blocks to print in different colors and layouts as per given specifications by stamping. The job requires skill to place and apply the blocks with a stable hand. Besides Soap Making helps in development of some of the work skills like measurement, safety skills and following step by step instructions
